Rogosin Heritage Inc. was founded in 2005 by Michael and Daniel Rogosin to restore, preserve and promote the legacy and work of Lionel Rogosin. The Lionel Rogosin Archives are housed by Rogosin Heritage.

Michael Rogosin

President of Rogosin Heritage

Michael Rogosin is a painter/artist with diverse activities. He has produced and conceived “An American in Sophiatown”, and taken an important role in the book “A Man Possessed the making of CBA.” Michael Rogosin has represented the films of his father around the world.

Daniel Rogosin
Along with his role at Rogosin Heritage, Daniel Rogosin is the founder and principal of Black Box Studios, a Los Angeles, California, based film and media company. Mr. Rogosin¹s current projects include INVESTMENT BY DESIGN, a twelve part television series on the building of a contemporary home, as well as several other film and television projects. Prior to founding Black Box Studios, Mr. Rogosin held a variety of positions in the film industry with United Artists, 20th Century Fox and MCA/Universal. He has produced several films, including THE GOOD SON.

Rogosin Heritage /Cineteca di Bologna

“Come Back Africa” was restored by the Cineteca di Bologna and the laboratory l’Immagine Ritrovata thanks to the Fondazione Officina-Sud-Est, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna and Marco Müller, director of the Venice Film Festival .It was screened at the 61st Mostra d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia’ (2004).

After this collaboration Rogosin Heritage and the Cineteca di Bologna entered into a long term agreement to promote, restore and bring the films and work of Lionel Rogosin to a large public. This agreement was made possible by the vision and understanding of the works of Lionel Rogosin by Gian Luca Farinelli ,director of the Cineteca di Bologna.

The Cineteca di Bologna is the worldwide distributor of all the films of Lionel Rogosin and films produced by Rogosin Heritage.
